Yin Yang Yoga is a practice that blends two opposing yet complementary energies into one session.

Yin = the stillness in surrender. This part slows everything down with long-held yin poses that targets release in the deep connective tissues that increase flexibility and calm the mind.
Yang = the strengthening energetic half. This is where you build heat through dynamic, flowing movements guiding strength into the muscles, increasing circulatory function, and warming the system with energising practices.

Carley and Alan established Yoga Connection in Brooklyn in 1999. Having trained in traditional style yoga with the Bihar School of Yoga / Satyananda Style Hatha Yoga they and their fellow instructors have offered classic, authentic yoga at Brooklyn since 1999. All instructors in Basic/Beginners and General levels of yoga at YC have trained properly and are skilled in correct instruction.

The studio offers a comfortable, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere where genuine yoga can be experienced for personal benefit.
