Concluding more than a meaningful week in the beautiful Upington.

With a jam-packed schedule and overflowing hearts, we are saying goodbye to the Northern Cape — until our return on 10–14 November.

A heartfelt thank you to every patient and every meaningful interaction that made this week super special.

And a very special word of thank you to the beautiful Le Must Residence for hosting us with such flair and the very best service. 🌱

Yesterday we had the most unexpected (and best!) surprise

Two of our super fans decided that yesterday was THE day to meet Dr. Wian in person.

They convinced their mom to give them bus fare, hopped on from Krugersdorp, and showed up at our door — all smiles, nerves, and pure excitement.

Why? Because they had written a song for Dr. Wian. And yes… they sang it. Right here. In the practice. 🎶😅

Their mom works for someone whose life was changed by Dr. Wian and his product range, and that story inspired them so much that they simply couldn’t wait another day to say thank you in their own way.

It was unexpected. It was heartfelt. It was slightly off-key at times 😉 … but it was absolutely perfect.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. 🙌

It’s been a full, fulfilling week — made even more special by the warm welcome from Dr. Kidson and the incredible medical community of Upington.

A heartfelt thank you to Kalahari Day Theatre & Cataract Centre for hosting our very first theatre case in town — a milestone we won’t forget. And to the stunning Le Must Residence, thank you for providing the most peaceful backdrop for healing. Everything feels a little lighter when you’re overlooking the Orange River.
