Ek is ’n geneser met deernis en stille krag. God lei my om heelheid te bring, liggaam, gees en siel. Ek kies teenwoordigheid bo perfeksie en genade bo druk. My lewe is ’n heilige offer van diens, geloof en liefde.

Ek is die vrou van ’n wonderlike man, ma van twee dogters, ouma, en mamma van drie bullterriers. Ek voel die meeste soos myself in stilte of saam met ’n klein groepie mense. Ek put uit God se bron, maar ek het ook ruimte nodig om te hervul, en dit is oukei.

My verbintenis met God is my krag, selfs wanneer ek swaar voel en wonder hoekom dinge gebeur.

“God, vloei deur my. Laat U liefde genesing bring, U vrede in my woorde leef en U stilte my hart vul. Ek is genoeg, want U is met my.”



I am a healer with compassion and quiet strength. God guides me to restore wholeness, body, spirit, and soul. I choose presence over perfection and grace over pressure. My life is a sacred offering of faith, love, and service.

I am the wife of a wonderful man, mother of two daughters, grandmother, and mama to three bull terriers. I feel most myself in quiet spaces or with only a few people. I give from God’s well, but I also need space to refill, and that’s okay.

Healing isn’t a moment; it’s a journey of courage, truth, and returning to yourself.

Today, Shannon van Lingen shares her story:
There was a time I felt numb and lost, unsure why, only knowing I didn’t want to feel that way anymore. Through therapy, she helped me face my trauma, understand it, and shrink its power over me. I showed up for myself, did the work, and slowly found myself again.

For the first time, I put myself first and learned that I matter, that I am loved, and that my voice counts. With her guidance, I discovered my true identity, now reflected in a poster I made as a daily reminder of how far I’ve come and what’s possible.

I can’t wait to keep discovering more. I’ve reclaimed my identity. Thank you, Rodette.


Daar was ’n tyd toe ek heeltemal verdoof en vasgevang gevoel het. Ek het geweet ek wil nie meer so voel nie. Deur terapie het sy my gehelp om my trauma in die oë te kyk, dit te verstaan, en sy krag weg te neem. Ek het vir myself opgedaag, die werk gedoen, en stadig weer begin heel word.

Vir die eerste keer het ek myself eerste geplaas en besef ek maak saak, ek is geliefd, en ek het ’n stem. Met haar leiding het ek my ware identiteit ontdek, iets waaraan ’n daaglikse plakkaat my herinner.
