Vertice Mobile Healthcare is excited to share the next chapter of our journey in Sierra Leone.

Our two state-of-the-art digital X-ray containers, developed in partnership with World Vision International, have officially arrived in country and are now temporarily mounted on trucks as they prepare for deployment to their final destinations.

Last week, our team was on the ground conducting hands-on training with local healthcare professionals, ensuring they are fully prepared to use both the Nexus AI CXR decision-support software for lung health screening and the X-ray system.

This alignment of people, technology, and purpose means that once the mobile clinics are positioned, they will immediately begin delivering rapid, accurate TB screening and essential diagnostic services to underserved communities.

From manufacturing to training to deployment, this milestone reflects our commitment to strengthening healthcare systems and bringing high-quality care directly to the people who need it most.

Following the successful commissioning of the containerized X-ray clinic for Orezone Gold Corporation, our Vertice Mobile Healthcare technical team recently returned to the Bomboré mine to conduct routine maintenance and hands-on operator training.

This ensures the continued optimal performance of the clinic’s diagnostic systems, a key element in safeguarding the health of employees and the surrounding communities.

Mining environments present ongoing health challenges, including occupational risks such as tuberculosis and silicosis, as well as the need for reliable medical infrastructure in remote areas. Through proactive maintenance and capacity-building, we’re helping to strengthen healthcare sustainability within these communities.

Vertice is excited to share the next milestone in our partnership with World Vision International: two state-of-the-art digital X-ray containers for TB case finding are now officially en route to Sierra Leone.

Earlier this week, the units were carefully loaded onto trucks and transported to the shipping yard, marking the beginning of their journey to West Africa.

Once in country, they will be mounted onto trucks, transforming into mobile clinics designed to bring rapid and accurate TB screening directly to underserved communities.

Fully integrated with our Healthcare Framework (HCF | ) software, these mobile solutions will strengthen Sierra Leone’s capacity to detect and manage TB more effectively, ensuring that no community is left behind.

This step marks another stride in expanding access, driving innovation, and saving lives across Africa.
