In an effort to strengthen South Africa’s capacity for rapid response to pandemics, SANAC, in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), is conducting a five-day Provincial Training Programme in Mpumalanga. The initiative focuses on enhancing the country’s preparedness and response to pandemics and other public health emergencies. This training marks a crucial step toward building a more resilient national health system. By integrating lessons learned from the HIV, TB, and COVID-19 responses, the programme aims to ensure that South Africa can respond swiftly and effectively to future public health threats.
