The past 3 days was one of the hardest things I have ever done but also one of the most rewarding! 9 top injectors guided by The South African Galderma Faculty g.n.tjasink
, for the ‘Train the Trainer Certification Program’ which is a Global Galderma Training Program. We each received a topic at the end of the 1st day and had to prepare a 10 minute presentation on camera, presented to our collagues, judged and critiqued by the faculty. 10 minutes goes by very quickly but to prepare for it,took hours! On day 3, live injection and presentation of a patient on camera to learn the fine art of presenting clearly and focused so that the audience can always see ( insane how difficult it is to position your hands correctly, concentrate on what you are saying as well as where you are injecting to achieve a significant outcome)..did I mention my heart bouncing in my ears, not to mention the lack of oxygen😂! BUT in the end we had so much fun and learned so much about ourselves and the skills necessary to optimally train the best we can. Although we have different personalities, we all learned from each other and I have so much respect for my fellow colleagues who has become close friends by now!
