For the longest time, I hated the word "Burnout." To me, it sounded like a white flag. It sounded like I wasn't tough enough, fast enough, or "good" enough at my job.
I thought admitting I was stressed was admitting I was failing. So, I did what most high-achievers do: I pushed harder. Until I crashed. Hard.
Looking back, I realized three things that I wish someone had told me before I hit the wall:
1. It’s not a personality flaw; it’s a capacity issue. You aren't "weak." You’re just operating on a 2020 battery in a 2026 world. Even the best hardware melts if you run too many programs at once without a reboot.
2. Admitting stress isn't a surrender—it’s an audit. When a business is over-leveraged, they do an audit to save it. When your life is over-leveraged, recognizing your stress levels is the exact same thing. It’s a high-level performance move to say, "This isn't sustainable."
3. We don't need the label; we just need the reset. You don't have to call it burnout. You don't have to wear a badge. You just have to be willing to do something about it. I want to help you avoid the crash I had by giving you the tools to recalibrate before the "smoke" starts.
