We are excited to start 2024 by announcing that our therapist Jess recently completed her M.A.E.S therapy training 🥳

Movement Analysis and Education Strategies (MAES) therapy is an early intervention and Specialised treatment for babies and children with neuro developmental conditions such as Cerebral Palsy. 🧠

MAES therapy is unique in its approach as it doesn’t focus on short-term achievement of tasks but rather focuses on reducing atypical development and opening possibilities for better outcomes. We are very excited to have this new approach to children with CP in our practice and look forward to working with themselves and their parents!

Whilst Jess is recovering from her foot surgery she is using this time to further her knowledge in the field of paediatric neurology and the treatment of these conditions! 🧠

Jess has a keen interest in paediatric neuro rehabilitation, and has thus embarked on the MAES Therapy certification.

MAES Therapy stands for Movement Analysis and Education Strategies and is an early intervention & specialised treatment for babies and children with neuro-developmental conditions and movement disorders 🧠

Jess is excited to bring her knowledge back to the practice and continue delivering therapy of an high evidence based quality!
