A moment of empowerment and independence💙

Recently, we had the honour of meeting Kealeboga Monyeki, a passionate and determined young man living with cerebral palsy.

Kealeboga is part of the Soweto Association of Persons with Disabilities (SAPD), where he participates in programs that help build confidence, skills, and self-sufficiency.

When his motorised wheelchair stopped working, it made attending these programs incredibly difficult, until our team at CE Mobility’s Roodepoort branch stepped in to help.

We were proud to donate a 14" CE Power Chair, restoring his ability to move freely and independently. Here’s to more freedom, more confidence, and many more journeys ahead, Kealeboga!

We’re excited to welcome Lee-Ann as the new Branch Manager of our George team!

With an MSc in Occupational Therapy from UWC and 19 years of experience across physical rehabilitation, psychiatry and paediatrics, she brings a wealth of knowledge and care to her new role. Lee-Ann will be overseeing the smooth running of the branch while also carrying out assessments, seating and wheelchair provision.

She’s passionate about encouraging others, helping them grow, and always finding ways to bring out the best in people. Dedicated and professional, Lee-Ann also knows the importance of balance, keeping her days grounded in both purpose and fun.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and daughter. She’s also an avid reader, a keen photographer, and enjoys expressing her creativity through crochet, and if there’s one thing she can’t resist, it’s a good glazed doughnut!

Meet Tokelo Moeketsi, a passionate advocate for persons with disabilities, radio presenter, and Boccia player from Bloemfontein.

Living with Cerebral Palsy, Tokelo has always embraced life with courage and positivity. When his motorised wheelchair broke, his independence was greatly limited but his spirit never wavered.

We had the privilege of assessing Tokelo and donating a new motorised wheelchair to support his mobility and restore his independence.

Stories like Tokelo’s remind us why we do what we do, to help people move freely, live fully, and thrive with dignity💙

We were proud to be part of the Rural Health Conference 2025!

A platform where health workers come together to share experiences and learn from one another.

Since 1996, the conference has championed a multidisciplinary approach, bringing together doctors, lecturers, students, medical companies, and allied health therapists.

This year, we noticed a strong interest in our peadiatric range, especially the Leckey GoTo Seat and strollers, designed to support children in rural settings who require assistive devices.

Meet Genius Gomede, a bright and brave young man!

Genius was born with a rare genetic condition, Metatropic Dysplasia. He could walk until the age of 5, but his body deteriorated, leaving him in need of a wheelchair.

Until now, Genius only had stroller-type chairs from hospitals and had lost the freedom to move himself. Thanks to the incredible support of Care4u2 Respite-Outreach, Genius’s dream came true!

He now has a wheelchair that allows him to move independently, wherever he wants to go. Thank you Care4u2 Respite-Outreach for changing a young man’s life💙
