Daar is soveel verwarring oor wat om te eet en wat gesond is. Veral nadat die VSA se nuwe dieetriglyne gepubliseer is en hulle 'nuwe' voedselpiramiede oral verskyn op sosiale media. Moenie mislei word nie- die grafiese voorstelling en die wetenskap asook hul eie nuwe riglyne stem nie ooreen nie. Gesond eet sluit in- regte kos, vrugte, groente, volgrane, suiwel (as jy kilojoules wil beperk is laer vet beter), as proteiene peulgroente- lensies, bone, maer dierlike proteiene soos vis, hoender en maer rooivleis (2-3x per week), gesonde vette soos avo, neute, sade, olywe/-olie, canola. Onthou, jy is wat jy eet en kosse en koeldranke met baie suiker en sout en ultra-geprosesseerde kosse is nie goed vir mens nie.
