😷 Did you know…

The flu isn’t just a bad cold — it’s caused by a completely different virus and can hit much harder.

You can spread the flu before you even know you’re sick, usually 1 day before symptoms start.

Flu symptoms often appear suddenly: high fever, body aches, chills, sore throat, and fatigue.

Getting a flu vaccine every year is the best way to protect yourself — the virus changes constantly, so last year’s shot won’t cover this year’s strain.

The flu can be especially serious for young children, older adults, pregnant women, and anyone with chronic conditions.

Washing your hands, wearing a mask when sick, and staying home when unwell all help prevent spread.

Antiviral medication can shorten symptoms — but only if started early (within 48 hours).

💡 Quick Tip: If you’re unsure whether it’s a flu or a cold, check how fast it started. The flu hits like a truck 🚚 — fast and intense!
