What is Biokinetics?

BIO + KINETICS = LIFE + MOVEMENT = LIFE THROUGH MOVEMENT

Biokinetics is the Science of Movement and the application of exercise in rehabilitative treatment of injury and performance. As Biokineticists we believe movement is medicine… by moving well we can reduce risk of injury and improve quality of life.🏃🏋🏻‍♂️🏊🏾

The primary function of a biokineticist is to improve physical functioning and health care through exercise as a modality. In addition Biokineticists also focus on health promotion, the maintenance of physical abilities and pre/ post operative final phase rehabilitation.

Biokineticists are clinical exercise specialists who are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa 🏥

🤰 Gabriella – A Biokineticist and Pilates Instructor dedicated to pre- and postnatal care, chronic conditions, and holistic movement. Her compassionate approach helps clients heal, strengthen, and thrive through every season of life.

💆‍♀️ Natalie – With a deep understanding of the mind-body connection, Natalie blends Sports & Myofascial Massage to restore balance, release tension, and promote holistic healing.

🏋️ Giulia – With over a decade in Biokinetics, Giulia blends orthopaedic rehab, postural correction, and performance training. Having achieved national colours in Powerlifting ,she enjoys working with athletes of all levels and she empowers patients of all ages to move with strength and purpose.

💨 Jodi – A leading Respiratory Physiotherapist and founder of Breathe Well Clinic. Jodi transforms lives through breathwork, helping clients recover from chronic respiratory issues, optimise performance, and breathe with freedom.

🏋️‍♀️ Kelly – A Biokineticist driven by precision, care, and connection. She specialises in orthopaedic rehab, Pilates, and fascial correction—guiding clients to rebuild strength, restore mobility, and move with confidence. Kelly’s hands-on, evidence-based approach empowers lasting recovery and body awareness.
