At Imara Primary School, PadMad partnered with the South African Women's Association (SAWA) to distribute 144 reusable menstrual kits to girls. The team also led an engaging session on menstrual health, creating awareness and training the girls on the proper use and care of menstrual products.

Because when we give knowledge, dignity, and opportunity, girls gain confidence to stay in school and thrive.

As the girls sat closely, fully invested, you could see it, the shift.

From silence to curiosity.
From uncertainty to understanding.

Through menstrual hygiene education, open conversation, and practical demonstration, myths were broken, and confidence was built. When a girl learns how to care for herself safely and sustainably, she doesn’t just gain knowledge, she gains power.

In partnership with Mind Your Community, we are creating safe spaces where girls feel seen, heard, and supported. And this is only the beginning.
