I love this Monday morning thought. We started January with intention for the New Year. What did we want to achieve?
But also useful to look at what may be getting in our way. How do we shape our environment for results.

I was listening to a podcast on longevity, what did people who lived in blue zones do? Often it seems the environment works with them, e.g living on a hill forcing you to walk down into the village for supplies and walk back up.

My morning run with friends and coffee keep me showing up. I am less to run on my own, or I will find myself procrastinating.
What did you want for yourself this year, what might need to change in your environment to get that?

It seems crazy that we are already at the end of January. Sometimes it is hard to remember those intentions and resolutions that we may have started the year with. Last weekend I got to have some time out
on a hike. It was a chance to think again about what I want in the year ahead. Perhaps the reminder is to check in often with what we want, how do we want the year to be for us.

The struggle is real…
New Year, New Intention. Or is it New Year, Same intentions?
What do you want for yourself this year. Have you had time think.
Sometimes we start the year with big goals and sometimes not. What I have found works for me is trying to focus on the intention. How do I want the year to look for me, and how then will I approach my goals. It sometimes is more about the approach to something that may shift the outcome.

We have spent the day doing a refresher course on Basic Life Support. It has been a while since I did the course. Really worth while especially with usiing an AED device. Worth doing the course. You Amy save someone’s life. When we started one of the courses participants had needed to use it in her infant a few years ago and saved her baby’s life. We never know when we may need something.

Getting a dog can be a great investment for physical activity and mental health. I can say I did an extra 2.5km walk today to walk Daisy Dog. The look I got when I left for my run this morning without her made me do the extra bit. Good fun being in the park with her and enjoying the green spaces too.
