📢ATTENTION CHIROPRACTIC PATIENTS

CASA welcomes the decision that chiropractors may cautiously return to work on level four.
The profession will have to adhere to the guidelines during this time, when providing you with chiropractic treatment.

Please see attached the minimum requirements for when you visit your chiropractor through all stages of Lock down.

📢PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

On the advice of the CASA, and according to the regulations set out by AHPCSA, chiropractors may only receive emergency patients in the next three week lock down. You may find that your chiropractor is not consulting as usual during this lock down period and many chiropractors will be consulting using a digital platform. Contact you chiropractor to establish how they can be of assistance to you. We all need to stay at home to stop the spread of COVID-19. We want to keep you safe.

📢ATTENTION MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC📢

Dear members of the public,

It is our duty as an Association to inform you that we have taken a stance based on what our President has stated regarding social distancing and staying at home.

We have urged all our members (and all chiropractors in South Africa) to stop all regular/ routine/ non-emergency treatments with immediate effect in line with the national lock-down. It is our duty as health care professionals to "first do no harm" and urge everyone to stay at home and consider remote care.

Those wishing to stay open for emergency cases may do so but will be required to wear the correct protective equipment to safeguard you, the patient, and themselves.
