Myopia (Nearsightedness)
Myopia, also known as nearsightedness, is a common eye condition where distant objects appear blurry while close-up objects remain clear. It occurs when the shape of the eye causes light rays to focus in front of the retina, rather than directly on it.

Early signs of myopia include squinting, frequent headaches, eye strain, and difficulty seeing distant objects like the classroom board or road signs.
