And that changes everything.

Buried with Him is not symbolic language for motivation…it is the reality of union with Christ.

When Christ went into the grave, He did not go there alone, and when He rose, He did not rise for Himself only. The old life,the enslaved, broken, sin-bound life,is counted as crucified with Him, and what comes out of the tomb is something entirely new.

Romans 6:4 declares that this is the purpose: that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Not improved habits. Not self-managed change. A resurrection life.

This is the hope for the addict, the weary, the bound, and the ashamed. In Christ, the grave is not the end of your story,it is the place where your old story ends.

And what rises is not a better version of you, but a new creation in Him.

There are seasons where healing does not look like instant relief, but like sustained grace. Where the body is weak, the mind feels stretched, and the heart carries more than it was ever meant to carry. Yet in those places, God does not step back. He reveals Himself.

He is not only the One who can heal, but the One who is healing. Healing in His presence. Healing in His truth. Healing in the slow reordering of what pain tried to break.

Romans 8:31 anchors the soul in that reality: “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Not a question of possibility, but of position. If the Lord Himself stands as your defender, your healer, your sustainer—then nothing opposing you has final authority. Not fear. Not sickness. Not the weight of your past. Not the battles in your mind. Nothing sits above His rule.

Yahweh Rapha does not always remove the struggle immediately, but He always remains sovereign in it. And His being “for us” means every detail is filtered through covenant love, not indifference.

So even when healing feels delayed, you are not abandoned. Even when strength feels absent, you are not uncovered. Even when the body or soul is in process, you are still held by the One who heals with wisdom deeper than urgency.

Because if God is for you, then what can truly stand against what He has determined to restore?

What a full and fruitful week here at YHWH Rapha. Counsellors and social workers have been faithfully meeting with the guys, and we’ve also begun counselling sessions with families.

We are expectant and encouraged as we witness change, victory, and restoration unfolding.

What we’re witnessing at YHWH Rapha is more than recovery.. it’s redemption.

Men and Women choosing surrender over struggle.
Families choosing forgiveness over bitterness.
Lives being rebuilt on Christ, not temporary solutions.

This is slow, intentional, God-led work. And we’re expectant for even more.
