Despite our training and experience, constant exposure to clients' trauma, the chaos of their circumstances, and our workload remains a challenge that can exhaust even the most experienced expert. I find that colleagues worldwide continue to search for ways to facilitate effectively without it coming at the expense of their own emotional and physical reserves.
Over the years, I have found that the most profound and rapid breakthroughs often happen when we enter the world of metaphor, process, awareness and creativity. I have developed three Gestalt-based processes that I would like to share with you.
These processes are simple and non-confrontational. They place the responsibility for change and healing back on the client, which significantly lightens your burden as a therapist:

🌈 Gestalt Colour Therapy: Uses colour as a holistic language and a new kind of empathy to systematically and comfortably access the subconscious and increase awareness and self-knowledge. Course date: 10 – 12 February 2026; 14:00 – 18:00. Or: 7 – 9 April 2026; 09:00 – 13:00. Cost: R1650.

🦕 Gestalt Dino-Therapy: A unique way to discover and handle the "sediment" of trauma and unconscious masks through the lens of paleontology as a metaphor and projection. Course date: 10 – 12 March 2026; 14:00 – 18:00. Cost: R1750.

👩‍🚀 Gestalt Astro-Therapy: Uses a space metaphor and projection for handling clients' contact-boundary disturbances, stubborn scars, and deep-seated unfinished experiences. Course date: 21 – 23 April 2026; 14:00 – 18:00. Cost: R1750.

All three courses are also available to you as an individual, on a one-on-one basis, if you would like to experience the training in a safe space of personal discovery, growth and recovery, rather than just another task on your "to-do" list. We meet for the one-on-one training online or in person, at your own preferred dates and times.

Learn how to use colour as a gentle, yet powerful therapeutic tool to help clients take responsibility for their unconscious actions, feelings, and thoughts, overcome resistance, and complete unfinished experiences stemming from trauma in their subconscious?
Gestalt Colour Therapy is a transformative intervention that profoundly promotes self-knowledge, emotional intelligence, awareness, and the integration of the personality.

The awsome human potential to heal

As a fellow human being, child of God, Social Worker and Gestalt therapist, it is fascinating for me to experience how children, teenagers and adults can overcome almost any debilitating existence-crises and condition. In my private practice, I facilitate primary school children, teenagers and adults using my unique non-confrontational and creative Gestalt programmes, for example Colour, Dino and Astro therapy, to discover their own potential and find solutions themselves.

Anyone can benefit from these Gestalt therapy programmes, whether you are suffering from depression, being traumatized, experiencing loss, struggling with eating disorder, being impaired by epilepsy, behavioral problems, aggression, lack of concentration, bitterness or poor health, to name a few. Yes, everyone can benefit from dealing with their problems, needs and pain with greater awareness, self-knowledge, responsibility and self-regulation - the goals of my Gestalt therapy methods.
