All you need:
🖍 Chalk
💦 Spray bottle
🧱 Wall / paving

Write letters, numbers or shapes in chalk… then spray to “erase”!

Why this is OT gold 👇
✔️ Builds hand strength
✔️ Improves shoulder stability
✔️ Encourages bilateral coordination
✔️ Supports letter formation

💡 Parent Tip:
Great for kids who struggle with pencil pressure or tire easily when writing.

💡 Teacher Tip:
Use it for sight words or spelling outside — movement + learning = better engagement!

I’ve been a little quiet on here… 🙈

Sorry friends! Life has been beautifully busy juggling new motherhood, late-night cuddles, early-morning feeds, and stepping back into my OT world ✨

Just to reassure you — the practice has been running since my maternity leave 🙌🏼 — I simply took a little pause from social media while adjusting to this beautiful new season.

But I’m BACK 💃🏼 and so excited to reconnect here again!

Today, we're celebrating love in all its forms - love for our clients, their families, and the incredible progress they make every day 💖

Valentine's Day activities for children can be both fun and therapeutic for us to facilitate. Here are some ideas:

🩷 Crafting Valentine's Cards: Engage children in making Valentine's Day cards for their friends, family members, or classmates. This activity promotes fine motor skills development through cutting, coloring, writing, and gluing.

❤️ Sensory Bins: Create a Valentine's-themed sensory bin filled with materials like heart-shaped beads, red and pink rice, small toys, or textured fabrics. Children can explore the different textures, practice pouring and scooping, and engage their senses.

💜 Gross Motor Games: Organize Valentine's Day-themed gross motor games such as a heart-shaped scavenger hunt, heart hopscotch, or a cupid-themed relay race. These activities promote coordination, balance, and strength.
