Proud parent moment❤️❤️❤️

Our Son is enrolled and has begun with his journey in this beautiful country and excellent university in Mauritius 🇲🇺

May God bless him, keep him safe and guide him all the way forward.

To all parents/ uncles aunts , grandparents etc ; I’m certain you know that feeling when your child leaves the nest, a little more uncomfortable now that he will be so far away but we are strong in faith that he is in safe hands with the man above❣️

Will be heading back to SA soon, after this well needed break and sorting out of his tertiary studies,

Wife and I are relaxed and refreshed and I’ll be back to steer our MD24 ship forward will be back to full duty from Monday .

We thank you all for the encouragement, and Jadyn say a “thank you all for the love and support from all our patients , family’s and friends , you guys are all amazing and beautiful and kind “ 🙏🙏🙏 it means more to us than you will ever know ,

Dr AK Pillay : NOTICE OF LEAVE
3-15 March 2026

Kindly be advised that I will be on official leave during this period but will be overlooking and managing all 3 practices remotely.

The leave is two fold :
My son who has achieved 5 As an 2 Bs with an overall pass of 85% has not received a single admission for his choice to study medicine, yes not one university in SA has accepted him to follow his dream in this country.
The system is rigged , this is a fact , with quota and quintiles in place and if you provide the best for your kids in this system , then you are considered privileged and are therefore not at the forefront of acceptance when the time come
Hence my wife and I are sending him internationally to study Medicine and as a father , I will ensure his dream is fulfilled despite the great disappointment we call home ( SA) .

Whilst doing so , we have decided to also take a break after securing his accommodation, tuition fees and all this run-around , my wife and I after some time will take this time to reset, reboot, refocus , realign so that when we are back we move stronger in faith and purpose for our own lives and for our businesses.

The practices will all be opened with the senior management on ground being Timika for all administration purposes, and second in charge will be Chriselda working closely by her side who will usually be your first point of contact and also with great experience.
They are both well experienced with vast knowledge of MD24 and will be here to assist,

We will see you all on the 15th again, please continue to make use of the services and I will be checking on all practices daily until I’m back.

We trust your understanding and appreciate your support, after all MD24 is only a name of it we’re not for its Patrons whose support and trust in us all, is what matters above all.

We most sincerely apologize for any inconveniencs caused , but assure you the much needed rest required to be the best version forward, see you all soonest ❣️❣️❣️

Been busy with both kids birthdays and this nerve wrecking anxiety filled days of matric results and current university processes .🙈🙈🙈
