‼️ ALERT - Emergency Water Mains shut off!

We have a vandalized valve at Cafda, Lavender Hill on a main 600mm supply line it will be isolated in the morning for repairs,

This means means most parts of the Southern Suburbs and Deep South will be without water until repaired from tomorrow morning .

Areas to be affected includes, Sea Winds, Pelican Park, Pelican Heights, Steenberg, Muizenberg, Kalkfontein, Fishoek, Simons Town, Strandfontein, Ottery, Landsdown, Lotus River, Grassy Park , Plumstead, parts of Wynberg, and possible suburbs in between that are fed by that mains line.

❓ Until - NO Estimated time of restoration can be determined at this stage.

❓What to do before then? - Store as much water for drinking, toilet flushing, and washing as you may require for a 24-hour period…. don’t forget to include pets’ drinking water.

We will be doing the emergency shut off at 8am🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
