Your contribution will not only support children’s mental development and problem-solving skills, but also bring comfort, relief, and a bit of joy to those who are bedridden or feeling scared during the festive season in hospital!

On 1 January 2026, Andries Vosloo Hospital had the privilege of a visit from the MEC N Pieters who brought gifts for the 3 babies born on New Year's Day.

She extended gifts to all neonates in maternity ward. 👏

It’s a commitment from our dedicated staff to provide care that goes beyond the clinical—care that is personal, empathetic, and rooted in deep respect for every mother and family we serve.

✨Appreciation Post️✨️

A big thank you to Mr CJ Lombard from Virovia for gifting two state of the art Littman Classic Stethoscopes & two QV500 vein finders to Andries Vosloo Hospital 🙌.

These devices make it much easier for healthcare workers to locate veins quickly and accurately, reducing discomfort for patients and saving valuable time for staff.

The QV500 will be especially valuable in neonatal care, where finding tiny veins in newborns can be challenging and stressful. By improving accuracy and reducing the need for multiple attempts, this technology helps protect fragile veins, makes procedures less painful, and gives caregivers more confidence at the bedside.
