Somerset West GP We are a well-established General Practice situated in Heldervue, Somerset West, and consists of 4 m A warm welcome to our practice.

We are a well-established General Practice situated in Heldervue, Somerset West, and consists of 4 medical practitioners assisted by friendly and very capable staff. We cater for the full spectrum of primary healthcare and focus especially on preventative medicine. We have a fully integrated ECG with treadmill as well as lung function testing capability. A wide variety of tests can be done on site. (See our Services Page for more detail)

All our GP’s are licensed to dispense medication and we have our own, fully stocked prescription pharmacy on the premises for acute as well as chronic medication. We also have two Physiotherapists at the rooms (Robinne Bigalke and Janneke Visser). We have a Procedure Room where we can perform a number of minor surgical procedures under local anaesthesia. We are actively involved in clinical trial work for various international pharmaceutical companies. We also have a Spider Vein Treatment (SVT) clinic. (See our Services Page for more detail.) Our dedicated staff is always willing to assist in all your medical related queries. We offer a full after hours service where one of our GP’s will always be available for medical assistance or advice.
