👁️ Can a contact lens get stuck behind my eye?
No, it can’t go behind your eye.
It might feel like it’s disappeared, but there’s a thin membrane (the conjunctiva) that connects your eyelid to your eyeball. This creates a closed space, so a lens cannot travel behind the eye.
If it feels stuck:
• Stay calm
• Wash your hands
• Use lubricating drops
• Gently massage the upper eyelid or look down while checking under the lid.
