Empowering Young Change-Makers!
On the 21ˢᵗ of March 2026, the Keeping Soshanguve Clean Campaign, an initiative of Botshilu Private Hospital, joined the Township Urban Beautification Project (TUB), SoshCan, and the Agricultural Research Council at Padisago Primary School to engage students in sustainability and environmental awareness activities.
The event focused on educating and empowering learners about sustainable practices, including:
- Food gardening
- Cultivation of indigenous plants
- Recycling and waste management
- Soil composting
These activities provided practical learning experiences, promoting environmental stewardship and fostering a sense of responsibility towards a cleaner and greener Soshanguve. The combined efforts of all participating campaigns highlighted the importance of community collaboration in building sustainable urban environments.
