- A feeling of heaviness in the sc***um
- Dull ache in the lower abdomen or groin

Early prostate cancer may have no symptoms, which is why screenings are so important.
However, be aware of these possible signs:

- Frequent urination, especially at night
- Weak or interrupted urine flow
- Pain or burning when urinating
- Blood in urine or semen
- Discomfort in the pelvic area

If you notice any of these, don’t wait, get checked.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers among men, but with early detection, it can often be treated successfully.

Know your risk factors:
- Age (50+)
- Family history of prostate or breast cancer
- Diet high in red meat and low in fruits/vegetables
- Being overweight or inactive

Talk to your doctor about a PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) blood test if you’re over 45 or at higher risk.

Your health is worth the check.

This month, men around the world are growing their moustaches to spark conversations and raise awareness for men’s health — including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.

Movember isn’t just about facial hair… it’s about taking action, getting checked, and supporting one another.

Whether you grow, donate, or simply spread the message, you’re helping make a difference.
Together, let’s change the face of men’s health.

We had the privilege of attending the inspiring book launch of one of our patients, Ms Tandokazi Siko.

It was a truly beautiful event filled with resilience, strength, faith and hope. Through her journey, Tandokazi reminds us that courage and faith can overcome even the greatest challenges.

Our very own Sanele was honoured to be invited as a guest speaker, celebrating this remarkable story of survival and empowerment.

Congratulations, Tandokazi, on this powerful milestone. Your story continues to inspire us all!
