We are excited to establish a collaborative relationship with Joburg Gynaecologic Oncology and are honoured to welcome Dr Koena A. Kgomo, Medical Specialist in O&G and Gynaecologic Oncologist, as our newest clinical partner.

Dr K Kgomo’s career includes leadership at Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, extensive contributions to gynae oncology research, multiple academic publications, and active participation in national awareness campaigns. He has been instrumental in developing specialised oncology services and continues to advance women’s cancer care through teaching, research, and clinical excellence.

We look forward to this meaningful collaboration as we strengthen access to quality gynaecologic oncology care.

We are excited to establish a collaborative relationship with Joburg Gynaecologic Oncology, and we proudly welcome Dr Langanani Mbodi, Clinical HOD of O&G at CHBAH and Academic Head of the Wits Gynaecologic Oncology Unit, as a valued clinical partner.

Dr L Mbodi is a distinguished subspecialist gynaecologic oncologist, researcher, lecturer, and examiner with an outstanding academic and clinical track record. His work spans cancer prevention, screening, advanced surgical management, and advocacy for vaccination and early detection. In 2024, he received the Clinix Health Excellence Award for his contribution to women’s healthcare.

We look forward to this collaboration as we work together to broaden access to comprehensive, compassionate gynaecologic oncology services.
