Ever found yourself reaching for snacks, only to realise later… you weren’t actually hungry? 😳 It happens to all of us!

The key is learning to differentiate between true hunger (your body’s need for fuel) and triggered cravings (emotional, stress, or boredom-based eating).

Here’s how to tell the difference:

True Hunger:
✔ Builds gradually over time
✔ Comes with physical signs (stomach growling, low energy)
✔ Open to different meal options
✔ Feels satisfied after eating

Triggered Cravings:
🚨 Hits suddenly & feels urgent
🚨 Linked to emotions (stress, boredom, loneliness)
🚨 Craves specific foods (usually sweets, salty snacks, fast food)
🚨 Still feels unsatisfied after eating

💡 Next time a craving hits, pause & ask yourself: Am I physically hungry? What emotion am I feeling right now? Can I satisfy this craving in a non-food way?
