๐ Today we turn 5! ๐
On 9 October 2020, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, we performed our very first Mohs surgery at Summerhill Surgical Centre. From those humble beginnings, we have grown into a leading centre of excellence in skin cancer treatment.
Fast forward five years, and weโve:
โ Grown to include 4 reconstructive surgeons, an oculoplastic surgeon, and a head & neck surgeon
โ Treated 6,821 skin cancers
โ Served patients from across SA and around the world
โ Built a modern facility aligned with international skin cancer treatment standards
Our mission has always been clear:
South African patients deserve world-class skin cancer care. ๐๐
Thank you to our incredible team, referring dermatologists, and patients for being part of this journey. Hereโs to many more milestones ahead! ๐
