β€œAll citizens of the world can save a life”

7 out of 10 cardiac arrests happen in front of bystanders, however less than 20% of lay bystanders end up providing first aid . If statics could be increased for every country in the world, hundreds of thousands of lives could be saved each year following sudden out of hospital cardiac arrests.

We all know that an accident can happen in a blink of an eye, especially when it comes to your kids.

If some kind of chemical does go into an eye, first rule as always is not to panic but to stay calm and focused.

Turn the child's head so the injured eye is down and to the side. Holding the eyelid open, use a cup or a shower head to pour a gentle stream of lukewarm water in the eye for 15 minutes (or use sterile eye wash such as contact lens saline rinse).

Make sure the water is running away from the uncontaminated eye. If your child is wearing contact lenses, remove them, then wash your hands to remove any chemicals.

Cover the injured eye with a clean dressing, and don't let your child rub his eye.

If any chemicals get in your child's eye, take your child to an emergency facility and bring the chemical container or name of the chemical with you. Have your child wear sunglasses; his eyes may be sensitive.

Bee, wasp, or hornet stings can be very alarming for a child, but they are rarely dangerous. Your child will experience a sharp pain followed by soreness, red skin, and slight swelling around the side of the sting.

βš• If the sting is still in the skin, brush or scrape it off sideways with your fingernail or a plastic card. Don't try to remove it with tweezers as you may inject more poison into your child
βš• Place a cold pack on the site for about 20 minutes to minimize the pain and swelling. Rest the injured part and if pain and swelling persists,
