Hang in There! 💪
This week at Jolly Tots Kinderkinetics, we explored the power of hanging, catching, and crossing midline!

These playful activities build upper body strength, grip control, and bilateral coordination (the ability to use both sides of the body together).
This skill is essential for everyday tasks like dressing, cutting with scissors, catching balls, and handwriting.

At home, encourage hanging on a jungle gym, gentle swinging, or simple throwing and catching games to strengthen your little one’s focus and coordination.

💫 Tip: Little & Loved’s sensory balls and ring 7 bar collection makes cross-body practice and hanging extra fun and safe at home!

✨ Now available: Our soft play mats and equipment is now available for buying!

It’s ideal for practicing skills like jumping, rolling, and hanging safely at home.

This week at Jolly Tots Kinderkinetics, we explored handstands and cartwheels — two of the best ways for children to build strength, balance, and confidence through movement!

Going upside down helps develop upper body strength, core stability, and spatial awareness, while boosting courage and coordination. 💪

At home, use soft mats or foldable play equipment from Little & Loved for safe and playful practice, and watch your little one grow stronger and braver with every flip!

✨ Now available: Rent soft play mats and equipment monthly for home practice. They are perfect for jumping, rolling, and tumbling fun.

This week at Jolly Tots Kinderkinetics, our little movers had an absolute blast exploring all things bouncing, hopping, and jumping !

💪 Jumping isn’t just fun, helps children build leg strength, balance, and bone health. At the same time it also improves rhythm, timing, and coordination, all essential for sports, music, and classroom focus.

At home, create a safe jumping zone with soft mats or stepping stones from Little & Loved.

✨ You can now rent soft play mats and equipment per month. They are ideal for jumping, rolling, and exploring safely at home.

Tuck, roll, and giggle! 🤸
At Jolly Tots Kinderkinetics, rolling is one of our favourite ways to help children explore movement, build coordination, and strengthen those little core muscles.

From log rolls to forward and backward rolls, each tumble teaches body awareness, directional movement, and motor planning. These are all vital skills for school readiness and everyday play.

Try it at home: spread out a soft mat or blanket and roll side to side, forwards, or backwards. It is simple, safe, and so much fun!

💫 Rolling is more than play — it’s the foundation for confident movers, focused learners, and happy hearts.

You better balance! — because every wobble builds strength, focus, and confidence. 🌿

At Jolly Tots Kinderkinetics, we turn playful movement into learning with fun balance activities for kids that develop gross motor skills, core strength, and coordination. From walking balance beams to wobbly stepping games, every step helps children discover body awareness and control.

💡 Try it at home:
Lay a strip of tape on the floor and turn it into a mini “balance beam.” Let your little one walk heel-to-toe, balance a soft toy on their head, or stand on one foot. These simple balance games for preschoolers are perfect for boosting focus, posture, and confidence.

🩵 Because balanced bodies create confident movers — and confident movers become curious learners.

This school break, we’ve created fun sensory play ideas you can do outdoors—activities that strengthen hand-eye coordination, balance, creativity, and sensory development.

Bonus: A simple mom-tip to pause and recharge too.

Crawling is more than just getting from point A to B.

Some babies may skip crawling and go straight to walking, but encouraging crawling—through tummy time, floor play, and play-based movement—lays an essential foundation for learning and motor development.

Floor play and reflexes that integrate are the perfect precursors for crawling and developing. Uneven surfaces, and changing direct environment through equipment are great ways to encourage crawling= different size pillows, balls of all sizes and moving objects.

Low muscle tone (hypotonia) isn’t just about floppy limbs — it can affect posture, coordination, speech, and energy levels.

Children with hypotonia often tire quickly, avoid physical play, or struggle with fine motor tasks like writing. Through targeted activities we can help build strength, endurance, and confidence. Examples of baby gear we do not encourage, walking rings and bumbo seats etc. We suggest other sensory aids which you can find at

If you have any concerns regarding low tone, please feel free to reach out to us so that we can help.

Balance is more than just staying upright — it’s part of the vestibular system, which controls coordination and spatial awareness. 🌈

A child with poor balance might seem clumsy, struggle to sit still, or have trouble focusing.
We assess and improve balance through fun, structured movement — helping your child feel more in control of their body and mind.
