Skin picking is a repetitive behavior, that acts as relief to stress, boredom, or other factors. This habit can cause damage to the skin, causing scarring and pigmentation over time.

To help someone with skin picking, you can try: 

🫧Identify triggers: stress, boredom ect

🫧Make it harder to pick: false nails, gloves

🫧Keep hands busy: fidget toys

🫧Resist picking: When you feel the urge, try to resist picking for longer each time. 

🫧Practice self-care: apply moisturizer, keep skin clean, and avoid picking at pimples or other skin issues. 

🫧Ask for help: if the issue is acne related, treatments such as chemical Peels or creams can assist with breakouts
