Gynaecological examinations play a crucial role in women's healthcare, helping to screen for various conditions and detect potential abnormalities.
We offer the following tests: Pap Smears (screening procedures used to detect cervical cancer or abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix); Ultrasounds (imaging using sound waves, a non-invasive procedure to look at the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes which allows us to diagnose various gynaecological conditions like fibroids, ovarian cysts or abnormal bleeding); Breast Examinations (help with the early detection of breast cancer and other breast-related issues by examining the breasts and surrounding areas for any lumps, changes in texture, or other abnormalities); and referrals for mammograms should this be necessary.

Laser Pain Therapy is a treatment that utilises specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and helps accelerate the healing process.
It can be used on patients who suffer from a variety of acute and chronic conditions in order to help eliminate pain, and swelling, reduce spasms and increase functionality.
The non-thermal photons of light that are emitted from the laser pass through the skin’s layers (the dermis, epidermis, and subcutaneous tissue or tissue fat under the skin).
This light has the ability to pe*****te 2 to 5 centimetres below the skin at 90mw and 830 nm.

SEVERE BLOOD SHORTAGE – URGENT APPEAL FOR BLOOD DONORS
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) is facing severe blood stock shortages. Current weather conditions and a higher-than-usual demand for blood have sent blood stocks plummeting. SANBS needs to collect 3500 units of blood a day and is urgently appealing to all potential and existing blood donors that are due to donate.
You can donate in the Boland / Stellenbosch area on 12 June 2023 from 10:30am to 15:00pm
Venue: WCBS Caravan @ Protea Hotel, Techno Ave Techno Park, Stellenbosch
Duration: Donation usually takes 30 minutes.
The Western Cape Blood Services ask that you remember to eat a balanced meal 3 to 4 hours before you donate blood and increase your fluid intake before and after donation.
To become a blood donor, you must:
• Be between the ages of 16 and 75 years
• Weigh 50kg or more
• Be in good health
• Lead a healthy lifestyle
• Consider your blood safe for transfusion to a patient
