You may not have thought about it this way before, but silver is a living material.🌱
I know that can sound out there, but let me explain.
In my work, I’ve seen how sterling silver responds. How it conducts heat, how it shifts under pressure, how it allows form to emerge through interaction rather than resistance. Over time, it becomes more than something I work with. It becomes something that carries the movement of my creative process into physical form.✨️
I see how silver brings my visions to life.
It is the medium through which vision takes shape.
And what it becomes does not end there.
Each piece is created with the understanding that it will live beyond the moment it is made, held, worn, and experienced through different seasons of a person’s life, especially during moments of transformation, reflection, and change.🪴
Sterling silver also carries a quiet longevity. It is a material that can be passed from one generation to the next, or even reworked and given new form again, continuing its life in a different expression.
We often focus on gemstones, yet overlook the properties of the metals that hold them. When silver is understood in this way, as something vibrant and responsive, it doesn’t just support a stone. It amplifies it.⛰️
Together, they create something more than the sum of their parts.
I would be interested to hear your perspective. Do you feel a connection to silver in any way?🌅
