Early communication intervention:
As most of you who know me, know - I love working with the 0-3 year population. I truly believe that a child is never too young to start with communication intervention.
I am going to share one of my most successful tricks - The Sound Box.

The Sound Box is designed to elicit requesting (using a gesture and verbal output) and pre-verbal skills (eye contact, imitation, turn taking, joint attention). I buy most of the toys from The Crazy Store.

At ARA we are serious about providing all the support you and your children may need, while also taking care of your health. We have put the necessary hygiene procedures in place to ensure that services can continue in spite of the current COVID-19 crisis. We will remain open during school closures. Feel free to contact the individual therapists in case of any uncertainties and to book appointments, or contact us via messenger, email or phone.

Ons hier by ARA wil graag verseker dat dienste kan voortgaan ten spyte van die huidige gesondheidskrisis en skoolsluitings. Die nodige prosedures ten opsigte van higiëne in die sentrum is ingestel. Kontak gerus die terapeute om afsprake te maak of in geval van enige onsekerheid. U kan ook n boodskap stuur op messenger, epos of telefonies kontak maak.
