On Friday 29 March 2019, Constantiaberg Mediclinic held a moving Memorial Service in honour of Dr Monty Brink.

It was a Thanksgiving Service for the life of Dr Brink and the immeasurable contribution he made during the past 25 years of Private Practice in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Urogynaecology and Laparoscopic Surgery.

The Brink family have requested that anyone wishing to make a donation, to please support The Zoe Project which meant a great deal to Dr Brink. It is a volunteer organisation that has for the last 18 years been working closely with the Maternity Units of the Retreat, Hanover Park and Mowbray Clinics.

They run a number of programmes from within the resource-constrained Retreat & Hanover Park Maternity & Obstetrics Units. Their volunteers work alongside government medical staff to support women throughout pregnancy, childbirth & in pregnancy crisis situations.

Donations will be used to acknowledge the legacy of Dr Brink. We hope to provide a tangible structure to continue the outstanding work of Dr Brink bringing New Life into our world.

The Memorial Service of Monty Brink will be held at 15h00 (RSA time) on Saturday 16 March 2019 at the Connect Church in Meadowridge, Cape Town. For those who are unable to attend, at around 15h00 a link to a live video feed of the service will be shared on this page to give all an opportunity to join in the celebration of Monty's life.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, brother, friend and doctor to many. He touched countless lives.

In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held on Saturday, 16 March 2019 at 15h00 at Connect Church, 136 Ladies Mile Road, Meadowridge. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Zoe Project that supports the midwife unit in Retreat.
