Incorporating shoulder & jump (hop) drills into my asana classes this month as we progressively work towards building strength in the upper body in preparation for peak pose Handstands… these drills however are not only for peak pose strength but can enhance your entire yoga asana practice.
Reel is self explanatory with teacher tip to keep your arms straight, shoulders engaged and work not on the height of the hop / jump but rather the strong supported landing on and over the yoga block.
