Freedom Day is often about big things…
But sometimes, it’s the small, personal freedoms that change everything 🩷

The freedom to understand your skin.
The freedom to stop hiding.
The freedom to let go of harmful habits and start caring for your skin properly.
The freedom to go make-up free

So many people are still navigating their skin journey alone, trying everything, hoping something works and that can feel exhausting.

This Freedom Day, I hope you give yourself permission to choose better for your skin. Not perfection… just progress.

POV: your melasma watching your habits like… 👀😅

Melasma is not just about what you put on your skin, it’s also about what you expose your skin to. Heat, sun exposure and harsh treatment can quietly make it worse, even when you feel like you’re “doing everything right”.

Things like skipping sunscreen, excessive heat from saunas or workouts without protection, and over-scrubbing the skin can all trigger or worsen pigmentation.

Managing melasma is about being consistent, gentle and intentional. Protect your skin, support your barrier and avoid the little habits that undo your progress.

And if you’re not seeing improvement, it may be time to look a little deeper and create a plan that actually works for your skin.

When I said skincare should be simple… I did not mean breakfast ingredients on your face 😭🥚

It’s 2026 and we really should have retired DIY food masks by now. What works in the kitchen doesn’t automatically belong on your skin. Eggs, lemons, baking soda and other home concoctions can irritate the skin barrier and sometimes cause more problems than they solve.

Healthy, radiant skin is not about experimenting with whatever is trending online. It’s about using science-based, research-driven skincare that has been formulated to work safely with your skin.

Your skin deserves better than guesswork. It deserves evidence, expertise and the right products for your specific concerns.

If you’re unsure what actually works for your skin, that’s exactly what consultations are for. Let’s build a routine that supports your skin properly.

Great skincare starts with understanding your skin type..

Whether your skin is dry, oily, combination or sensitive, the correct products can make all the difference. A routine that suits your skin helps maintain balance, support the skin barrier and keep your complexion healthy and comfortable.

If you’re unsure what products are best for your skin, a consultation can help guide you towards a routine that works for you.

Hair falling out and you can’t quite figure out why? It may not always be stress, hormones or genetics.

Sometimes your hair may be missing key nutrients it needs to grow well.

Hair follicles are tiny, hardworking factories. And like any factory, they need the right raw materials to produce strong, healthy strands. When important nutrients like iron, vitamin D or even protein are low, the hair growth cycle can be affected, leading to thinning, shedding or slower regrowth.

The good news? Many nutritional causes of hair loss can be identified and addressed with the right testing and guidance.

If you’re experiencing persistent hair shedding or thinning, it’s important to investigate the underlying cause rather than guessing with supplements. A consultation can help us determine what your hair actually needs and create a plan that supports healthy regrowth.

Living with rosacea does not mean your skin has to stay red, irritated or uncomfortable 🩷

With the right habits and skincare routine, many people can significantly reduce flare ups and improve overall skin health. Simple steps like daily sunscreen, gentle cleansers, barrier-supporting moisturisers and avoiding known triggers can make a real difference.

Rosacea is a chronic condition, which means consistency is key.

If redness, flushing or sensitivity is something you struggle with, a consultation can help you understand your condition and create a treatment plan that works for you.

If Vitamin C isn’t in your routine yet… consider this your sign 🍊✨

Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is one of the most studied antioxidants in skincare — and for good reason.

It helps to: ✨ Brighten uneven skin tone and pigmentation ✨ Support collagen production (hello, firmer skin) ✨ Neutralise free radicals from UV and pollution ✨ Enhance your sunscreen’s protection

For best results, apply your Vitamin C serum in the morning, followed by SPF ☀️ — they work better together.

Quick tip: Vitamin C is unstable — store it away from heat and light, and if it turns dark orange/brown, it’s time to replace it.

Glowing skin is not just luck, it’s science.

Are you using a Vitamin C serum? Tell me your favourite below 👇🏽✨

If you need help choosing the right one for your skin concerns, we’re always happy to guide you.
