What is the Red Tent?

It originates from the old testament, where women were seen as unclean on their bleed. So they were banished to the tent to sit on their straw and cloth nest, where women got to rest. Their children were taken care of, their husbands didn't demand anything of them.. they rested. Rejuvenated. Practiced self care. They fill led up their cups. That is what these sisterhood circles have to offer. It never ceases to amaze me how I am moved after holding space or attending every. Single one.

And so, there are many many women remembering the Wisdom of the womb. Remembering that we are not in competition with each other, but collaborating in creativity.

I'm so grateful!

Grateful for the humans that are as excited to learn new yoga tricks as I am!!

What a way to spend a weekend!! Our bodies are tender but strong.. the hammock really doesn't disappoint!
