Have you ever found yourself reacting strongly in a moment… and later wondered, why did that trigger me so deeply?

Sometimes anger and resentment are not just about what’s happening now they’re connected to experiences we haven’t fully processed yet. When left unaddressed, these emotions can quietly affect how we communicate, connect, and respond in our relationships.

But the good news is that awareness creates space for healing and healthier conversations.

If this resonates with you, join us for an intimate Couples’ Dinner where we’ll be unpacking real relationship triggers and how to build stronger, lasting connections together. ❤️

Your kidneys work quietly every single day filtering your blood, balancing fluids and protecting your body from harmful waste.

But kidney disease is often called the *silent condition* because many people don’t notice symptoms until it’s advanced.

Here are early warning signs you should never ignore:

• Swollen feet or ankles
• Constant fatigue
• Frequent urination (especially at night)
• Difficulty concentrating
• Persistent lower back discomfort

NB: (Remember noticing these symptoms alone isn’t necessarily a diagnosis for kidney disease unless proper tests have been conducted, so please consult with a healthcare professional).

The good news though is Early detection can protect your kidneys and your health.

This National Kidney Month, take a step toward prevention:

✅Drink enough water
✅Manage blood pressure
✅Reduce excess salt intake
✅Check your blood sugar regularly
✅Schedule routine health screenings
✅Stop smoking

Your kidneys matter. Protect them early.

Too often, we focus on silencing the discomfort instead of asking:
Why is my body reacting this way?

At Dr Nthabiseng Matla Health & Wellness Centre, we take a holistic, patient-centered approach.

That means looking beyond symptoms to understand the root cause, whether it’s physical, emotional, or lifestyle-related.

Because true healing happens when we treat the whole person not just the condition.

If you’ve been managing symptoms but not getting answers, it may be time to look deeper.

Behind the scenes. ✨

As I always say, my philosophy around health does not begin and end with simply taking medication. True healing is deeper than that. It is about understanding the body, caring for the mind and nurturing the whole person.

The team and I have been working on something meaningful ,a space where we can learn, heal, grow and flourish together.

I am truly excited to see what this next chapter will unlock in all our lives.

Endometriosis is a chronic inflammatory condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus causing inflammation, scarring, and often severe pain.

It can affect the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bowel, bladder and other pelvic organs.

Common symptoms include:
• Debilitating period pain
• Chronic pelvic pain

• Pain during in*******se
• Heavy or irregular bleeding
• Fatigue
• Infertility

Severe period pain is often dismissed as “normal.”
It is not always normal.

Diagnosis can take years. There is no cure yet, but symptoms can be managed with the right medical support.

If your periods are disrupting your daily life, getting worse, or leaving you exhausted every month please don’t ignore it.

Your pain deserves to be investigated.
