We kindly appeal to our community for donations of any unwanted goods in sellable condition to help support our vital work 🙏

As many of you may know, we raise our own funds through our thrift stores and without the continued support and loyalty from our community, we cannot exist. Your generous donations make a big difference in caring for those in need. Every donation, big or small, helps us continue bringing comfort and care to our patients and their families ❤️

Items can be dropped off at our shops or our office.

We are thrilled to welcome our brand-new Suzuki S-Presso, generously purchased to help us continue our vital work in the community.

St Helena Sandveld Hospice would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to APCC Assoc of Palliative Care Centres for presenting such an excellent and informative Palliative Care for Caregivers course.
We are truly grateful for the opportunity to facilitate this valuable training and to be part of equipping caregivers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide compassionate care to those who need it most.

The course, which was held at Huis Wittekruin en Leefreg during February, was very well received. Our students found the training extremely informative, practical, and empowering.

A special word of appreciation also goes to all the students who attended the course. Thank you for your dedication, your willingness to learn, and for investing your time in becoming better caregivers in our community. Your commitment makes a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

We look forward to more opportunities to work together in strengthening palliative care in our community. 💙

🌸 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – JOIN OUR HOSPICE FAMILY 🌸

St Helena Sandveld Hospice is looking for loyal, trustworthy and compassionate individuals who would like to serve as volunteers in our Charity Shop in Vredenburg.

Our charity shop plays a vital role in helping us raise funds to continue providing quality palliative care to patients and support to families in our community. By volunteering, you become part of something truly meaningful — making a difference where it matters most. 💛

We are specifically looking for volunteers to assist in our shop, but we also warmly welcome anyone who feels called to serve in any other volunteer capacity.

If you have a few hours to spare and a heart to give, we would love to hear from you!

📞 Please contact our office on 022 713 3738 between 08:00 and 13:00 on weekdays and ask to speak to our Volunteer Co-ordinator, Haroldine Saayman.
