Sunday Shopping, But Make It Local ✨
A few beautiful finds from local makers, artists and independent brands that I’m loving right now.
1. Gather Pedestal Bowl – Cream Petal
This Cream Petal Pedestal Bowl instantly caught my eye. The softly scalloped edge and delicate hand texture feel so timeless. I love that it works just as beautifully holding fruit or flowers as it does simply styled on its own. Each piece is shaped and glazed by hand, making every bowl completely unique.co.za
2. Journey Jewellery Case
I’m a sucker for beautiful storage, and this jewellery case is such a treat. The pebble-grain leather and floral suedette lining make it feel really special. It keeps rings, earrings and chains perfectly organised, and you can even add your initials to make it a little heirloom piece.
3. Selene Earrings
These Selene earrings are such a beautiful mix of natural and elegant. Hand-carved from Kiaat wood and brass, they’re lightweight and earthy but still feel refined. I also love that they’re named after Selene, the Greek goddess of the moon.
4. Maison Sucré – Almond Rocca
These Almond Rocca jars from Maison Sucré are just gorgeous. Elegant glass jars with bamboo lids make them perfect for an Eid table or as a thoughtful gift. The customisable Eid Mubarak tag is such a lovely touch it’s the little details that make gifting feel extra special.
5. Oryx Candle
The Oryx Candle is such a striking sculptural piece. Inspired by the iconic South African Gemsbok, it brings a touch of wild elegance into any space. Even unlit it’s beautiful décor, and once lit it captures the calm spirit of the savanna.
