🎈A morning of learning and networking 🙌

What an inspiring CPD workshop on Neurodiversity (pertaining to Pathological Demand Avoidance) hosted by Western Cape Paediatric Practitioner's Group and presented by Neuropsychologist Dr Natasha Smit from Neurohub 👏 Natasha Smit - Clinical Neuropsychologist

We explored deeper insights into PDA’s clinical presentation, strengths-based approaches, and practical strategies to better support the individuals and families we work with 🧠 We will always continue to grow our knowledge, challenge our perspectives, collaborate with passionate professionals dedicated to inclusive, client-centred therapy while advocating for neurodiversity-affirming practice! 🌈

👋 Meet our newest team member! 👋

We’re so excited to welcome Carmi du Plessis, our newest Occupational Therapist, to the practice. Carmi brings a passion for helping children develop to their full potential while collaborating with caregivers and colleagues to ensure optimal carryover into home and school environments.

Carmi is currently busy with her postgraduate training in Sensory Integration and has background in DIR Floortime, too. She is available and ready to meet you, at our Stellenbosch therapy room. We know our clients will be in great hands and benefit from her expertise!

🎈 Die praktyk het hierdie week vir die nuwe jaar geopen en ons kan nie wag om weer al die opgewonde kindergesiggies in ons terapielokale te verwelkom nie! Our team had a relaxing afternoon at The Hydro at Stellenbosch enjoying some pampering. We are looking forward to a well-deserved break after a busy year, working with amazing clients, before we do it all over again next year 🎈

The practice closes today and reopens on the 12th of January 2026. We wish all of our followers a blessed and safe Festive season! 🎄
