ALL ABOUT SPECTACLES FOR MYOPIA CONTROL

If your child or teenager has myopia or near-sightedness, spectacles can be prescribed to improve their vision. Some special types of eye glasses can also control the progression, or worsening, of childhood myopia.

The bad news is that standard distance spectacles do nothing to slow down the worsening of vision that occurs in kids and teens
with myopia. The good news is that special types of spectacle lenses can control the progression of myopia and give kids more stable vision between their eye exams.
