🀰✨ Top 5 Tips for a Healthy Pregnancy ✨🀰

1️⃣ Go for prenatal check-ups – Regular visits help track your health, your baby’s growth, and catch any possible complications early.
2️⃣ Eat right & take supplements – A balanced diet plus folic acid and prenatal vitamins support your baby’s healthy development.
3️⃣ Exercise safely – Moderate activity keeps blood sugar in check and supports overall wellbeing. Always check with your doctor first!
4️⃣ Quit alcohol & smoking – These can cause serious harm to you and your baby. It’s never too late to stop.
5️⃣ Stay informed – Use trusted resources, apps, and antenatal classes to guide you through every stage of pregnancy.

πŸ’™ A healthy mom means a healthy baby. Take care of yourselfβ€”you’re growing a little miracle!

πŸ’™ Pap Smear: Small Test, Big Protection πŸ’™

A Pap smear is a quick, routine exam that checks your cervix for abnormal cells that could lead to cervical cancer. During the test, a trained nurse or doctor gently collects cells from the cervix and sends them for analysis.

πŸ”Ή 21–29 β€” Every 3 years
πŸ”Ή 30–65 β€” Every 3 years, or HPV test every 5 years, or both tests every 5 years
πŸ”Ή 65+ β€” May no longer need screening if you’ve had a history of normal results

🌸 Postpartum Tip: Managing Sore Breasts

Why it happens: A few days after birth, breasts may become full, firm, and sore due to engorgement.

If breastfeeding:
βœ… Nurse often on both breasts
βœ… Express a little milk before feeding to help baby latch
βœ… Warm compress/shower before feeding
βœ… Cold compress between feeds
βœ… OTC pain relievers may help

If not breastfeeding:
βœ… Wear a supportive bra
🚫 Don’t pump or express milk
βœ… Apply ice packs
βœ… OTC pain relief if needed

πŸ’™ Comfort and care make recovery easier!
