We care for our residents. Fees are affordable. We are a Non-Profit Organisation providing accommodation to those who cannot afford to live somewhere else.

We solely rely on donations and grants which contribute towards the upkeep of the Residence.

What a truly fun day it was for the residents at Eleanor Murray. Instead of waiting for tomorrow, Valentine's Day was joyfully celebrated a day early, filling everyone's heart with love. Our Mr and Mrs Valentine title goes to the lovely Wynandia Thom and the handsome Theo Jacobs. Well done to you two. Everyone looked beautiful in their Valentine colours. The decorations were created by the staff who made such a good job of it. Thank you to all who made this day so special for our residents.

We are deeply saddened to announce the loss of Keith Maidwell, a resident for over 14 years. After a stroke, Keith's health deteriorated, and he peacefully passed away at 4am this morning. He will be greatly missed. Keith was a wonderful person, and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Keith's brother Richard Charles Maidwell, friends and residents. Such a sad time. Goodbye, Keith, we will miss you so much.🙏😢

We are saddened to announce the passing of Mrs. Louise Van den Berg on Monday, January 19th. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. She will be greatly missed. Her friendly smile and warm personality will be remembered fondly. The memorial service will take place as below.

We extend our gratitude to Irene Werner from Gardens Presbyterian Church and Cathy Hartley for delivering Christmas presents to our residents on Saturday. We also appreciate Cathy's efforts in organizing Christmas pies with Bella, owner of OK Foods in Melkbosstrand, as well as Joey from E-Club Rotary for generously donating luxury nick knacks and chocolates. Furthermore, we acknowledge Anna from Die Spens for the gift boxes. Our residents feel truly blessed to have such supportive and caring individuals.

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved resident, Aunty Peggy, who lived a remarkable life of 103 years. She was a truly amazing lady who has gone Home to our Lord. Her passing leaves a huge gap in our hearts. We offer our deepest sympathies to her family and all at the Residence and her friends. She will be missed. Aunty Peggy will be remembered for her remarkable life and spirit.🙌😇🙏😪 Good bye aunty Peggy.

The Senior Santa Shoebox Project once again bestowed upon our residents the gifts of joy and festive cheer this year. A few Christmas carols were sung with Chris playing the piano. Mother Christmas and her elves presented gifts. Our residents delighted in 'high' tea and delicious cake. Bless you Senior Santa for thinking@ of our residents.🙌😇🤗

Are you able to donate a Christmas tree to the Eleanor Murray Residence? Our current small white tree is not large enough to accommodate residents' Christmas presents. If you have a tree that you no longer need, we would appreciate it. We are specifically seeking a large green tree. While we have the necessary trimmings, we lack a tree of sufficient size.
