Rebirth Dance Company is celebrating a powerful milestone in our creative journey. We are incredibly proud to share that Arne Bosman is representing us at the prestigious DCAS Scriptwriting Workshop — a transformative space dedicated to nurturing new voices, strengthening storytelling skills, and empowering artists to shape narratives that reflect our communities with honesty and heart.

What makes this moment even more meaningful is that all participating writers were given the opportunity to attend the Suidooster Festival, one of the Western Cape’s most vibrant celebrations of local talent, theatre, and culture. Being surrounded by storytellers, performers, and creators from across the province has sparked a renewed sense of inspiration and purpose within our team. It is a reminder of the power of the arts to connect, uplift, and ignite new possibilities.

For us at Rebirth Dance Company, this is more than just an event — it is a reflection of how far we’ve come and how boldly we continue to grow. It is a moment that affirms our mission: to uplift our community, to create meaningful work, and to open doors for the next generation of artists who deserve to be seen and heard.

Rebirth Dance Company stepped into Esselenpark High School for International Dance Day with one goal: to spark awareness through movement. Our Lecture Demonstration brought “After the Quiet” to the Grade 8 & 9 learners — and their response reminded us why this work matters.

Thank you to the Esselenpark team for opening the doors to the arts, and to every learner who listened, questioned, and connected. Your honesty and engagement gave the piece new life.

🔥 REBIRTH DANCE COMPANY RISES — EVEN IN THE BUSIEST WEEK! 🔥

Last week, in the middle of a hectic production schedule, Rebirth Dance Company still made sure that our Lecture Demonstration program stayed front and center. We had the privilege of performing “After the Quiet” for the Grade 8 & 9 learners of Breërivier High School — and what an unforgettable experience it was.

We want to extend a massive thank you to:

• the learners who showed up with energy and curiosity
• the principal, deputy principal, and every teacher who made space for the arts
• and most importantly, a huge shout‑out to the learners for engaging so deeply with the story
