Rebirth Dance Company Celebrates 5 Years of Impact
Rebirth Dance Company is proudly celebrating 5 years in business right here in Worcester — a small town not widely known for arts, culture, or dance.
Today, we are proud to say that despite having no major funding over these five years, we have remained true to our vision. Through every struggle and challenge, we have continued to push forward — turning our dream into reality and giving hope to our community and to young people who want to dance and build a future in the arts.
Many people see the beautiful moments on social media. Some of you have attended our productions and experienced the powerful performances we bring to the stage. But what many don’t see is the hard work behind it all — 5 days a week, 8 hours a day — dedicated to creating work of excellence.
What we have built at Rebirth Dance Company has never been easy, and it is still not easy without funding. But our passion, dedication, and belief in our youth keep us moving forward.
Today, Keenun Wales and Nathaniel Jacobs stand proud of what we have accomplished for our community — creating opportunities for young dancers to lead, to believe in their dreams, and to perform on prestigious stages such as Artscape Theatre, Baxter Theatre, and major festivals.
To everyone who has supported us over the past five years — thank you. We appreciate you deeply. We ask that you continue this journey with us as we look forward to adding another five years of growth, impact, and excellence to Rebirth Dance Company.
