Goeiedag Ouers en Roodewal Gemeenskap.

Met swaar harte neem ons vanmiddag afskeid van ’n merkwaardige leier, mentor en mense mens. Ons Prinsipaal, Mnr Denovan Willemse.

Hy was nie net die hoof van ons skool nie, maar die hart en siel daarvan. Met wysheid, deernis en onwrikbare toewyding het hy generasies leerders en personeel geïnspireer om altyd hul beste te gee.

Sy nalatenskap leef voort in elke kind, elke klas, elke sukses en elke droom wat hy help vorm het.

Hy het geglo in dissipline, respek en die krag van onderwys om lewens te verander — waardes wat ons vir altyd sal koester.

Ons sal sy leiding, vriendelikheid en opregte omgee vir ons Roodewal kinders en gemeenskap diep mis, maar ons is dankbaar vir die onskatbare invloed wat hy op ons lewens gehad het.

Rus sag Mnr Willemse. Jou lig sal altyd in ons harte bly skyn.

Dear Parents

Our District is hosting a 2027 Admissions Support Day aimed at assisting parents and guardians who need help applying for school admissions for the 2027 academic year.

District officials will be present on the day to guide parents through the application process, answer questions, and ensure that every parent who attends is able to successfully complete their application.

The 2027 admission pop-up centres will be in operation between 09:00 & 15:00, on Saturday, 21 March 2026.

✨️🎊 Today we proudly recognize Mr Suliaman Valley, an avid community member who so generously gives of his time ⏳️, energy💪, and skills to our school community.🏘 His continued presence in the Worcester community, willingness to help where needed, and genuine concern for our school🏫 and the broader Worcester community have made a lasting impact.🌟 Shukran, Mr. Suliaman Valley, for your shining example of service, dedication, and partnership with the people.🏆

🤝 A Life of Service: Honouring Mr Sulaiman Valley |
Gift of the Givers pays tribute to an extraordinary community servant, Mr Sulaiman Valley. Our journey with Mr Valley began in 2013 when he arrived at our offices with a small tin filled with donations collected at Worcester mosque for famine relief in Somalia. Soon after, the community again stepped forward to support humanitarian aid in Yemen.

Despite facing their own socio-economic challenges in Worcester, Western Cape, Mr Valley and his community never stopped giving. From helping families with burial arrangements to guiding the elderly to clinics, assisting parents with school enrolments, and ensuring struggling households have food - his service is constant and selfless.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he even helped coordinate the distribution of tons of food through Gift of the Givers, reaching countless families in need. Mr Valley’s humility, compassion, and unwavering dedication remind us that true humanitarianism begins in the heart of a community 🙏💚
