These two incredible ladies have been sober for 6–7 years and are the most amazing moms to their two sons 💕👩‍👦‍👦 Their journey hasn’t just changed their lives — it’s changed their children’s lives too. At BOWL, we’ve built a relationship with their boys as well, because they became part of our family 🤍🌿

Many women are afraid to come forward for help because of stigma. They fear being judged as “bad mothers” or worry that Social Services will take their children away. But that’s not the case. Social Services care too — and support is there to keep families together, not break them apart 🙏

Today, the room was filled with colour, laughter, and possibility as service users created their vision boards.🌺🌻🌷🌼

Magazines were flipped through with curiosity, scissors carefully followed hopeful outlines, and glue sticks worked overtime bringing dreams to life. 🌿🌿🌿💜💜💜

Wat ’n voorreg was dit nie om 06 Februarie 2026 die gemeenskap van Riverview toe te rus met kennis oor hoe dwelms en alkohol bydra tot verskeie vorme van mishandeling.
Baie dankie aan Worcester Ekumeniese Gemeenskapsdiens Weg vir die inisiatief om mense uit die gemeenskap bymekaar te bring, sodat hulle ook bewus kan wees van waar hulp beskikbaar is vir middelafhanklikheid en geslagsgebaseerde geweld. Mag die Here julle organisasie seen van krag tot krag🌿💜

Ons glo daarin om ons mense te bemagtig, want soos die Bybel sê: “My volk gaan te gronde weens ’n gebrek aan kennis.”✍️💜🌿
