The children growing up on our farms hold a special place in our hearts. They are part of the backbone of our communities and our future. Their safety, wellbeing, and development matter deeply to us.
By standing together, we can create a safe, supportive environment where every child—especially our farm children—can grow, learn, and thrive free from harm. 💚

Hy sê wat hom verder gepush het om BOWL te begin, was ander social ills soos moord, verkragting en child abuse wat alles spruit uit substance abuse. Dít en die feit dat mense, volgens hom, drug addicts net so afskryf, “terwyl daardie kind ook ’n droom gehad het”.

BOWL is die brainchild van Joe van der Berg (45), wat op die plaas Moddergat tussen Villiersdorp en Worcester grootgeword het. Hy is ook die CEO van die organisasie.

SHE RISES": CELEBRATING RESILIENCE IN RECOVERY💜💜💜
This powerful photograph captures a moment from the "She Rises" community project, an initiative organized by Fourth-Year student Odile Fredericks. This project was born out of a deep need to provide dignity, visible acknowledgment, and a day of celebration for ten incredible women currently walking the challenging path of recovery at Bowl Addiction Treatment Services.
"The goal was simple: to recognize their strength and show them how deeply the community values their commitment to change," says Fredericks.

The success of the day was a true community effort. A huge thank you is extended to:
* Doreshia De Voss for being the guest speaker and telling her testimony
* Khidijiah Solomons for delivery her powerfull poem.
* Macro Alberts for sponsoring essential snacks and refreshments.
* Dr Stefan Leroux for the beautiful flowers that adorned the venue.
* Oriental Foods for their generous food and Clicks for their contributions.
* And every volunteer and donor who contributed gifts and time.

We stood with them as they chose to rise.✨✨✨
