"🎉 This year we close with a milestone in advancing eye care in our community! The newly commissioned Eye Clinic, sponsored by Operation Eyesight through the leadership of prevailing government, was officially opened in a memorable ceremony graced by esteemed guests, including the Chikankata District Health Director, Chikankata Council Chairperson, Directors from Operation Eyesight, ward councilor ,representative of organization one sight and representatives from Medical officer in charge ,Kafue Gorge Hospital.

This facility is a beacon of hope, promising improved vision and brighter futures for many. Thank you to all our partners for making this dream a reality. Together, we’re transforming lives, one sight at a time! 👁️✨

On this World Prematurity Day as kafue Gorge hospital, we honor the strength of premature babies, the resilience of their families, and the dedication of healthcare professionals who give them a fighting chance. Together, we can raise awareness about preterm births and work towards better care, support, and understanding. Let’s shine a light on the importance of advancing neonatal care and ensuring every baby has the opportunity to thrive. Join the movement to celebrate, advocate, and create hope for premature babies worldwide. A hamper was presented to mother's with premature babies today, we celebrate these lives.

Situated in the southern province's Chikankata area, Kafue Gorge Hospital is a level 1 hospital. We are located 28km off the Lusaka-Chirundu road. Surrounded by picturesque surroundings, the level 1 hospital receives patient referrals from over ten medical facilities. We serve a catchment area of about 94388 people and We posses the capacity 68 beds. From dental to obstetrical and postnatal care, our institution provides a wide range of services. Our hospital provides Nhima clientele with facilities, and the number of these patients is increasing.
Our hospital employs a growing group of skilled professionals committed to providing the community with the highest caliber of treatment.
Our staff works incredibly hard to achieve Ministry of Health requirements and save lives using the resources that have been granted.
